Privacyverklaring

Deze privacyverklaring van Veilet bv heeft betrekking op de veilingplatformen veilingenvankunst.nl, museumveiling.nl en nationalebenefietveiling.nl. De verklaring geeft informatie over  de verwerking van persoonsgegevens van bezoekers. Veilet bv verwerkt de gegevens zorgvuldig en beveiligd, conform de toepasselijke wet- en regelgeving.  

Toepassing van de privacyverklaring

Deze privacyverklaring is van toepassing op alle persoonsgegevens die Veilet bv verzamelt en verwerkt van betrokkenen in het kader van de aangeboden diensten, veilingdienstverlening, producten, het gebruik van de app en het bezoeken van onze websites.

Door het registreren en afnemen van onze diensten en/of producten, het gebruiken van de app en het bezoeken van onze websites geef je toestemming aan Veilet bv om jouw persoonsgegevens in overeenstemming met deze privacyverklaring verwerken.

Personen beneden de leeftijd van 16 jaar, mogen alleen dan persoonsgegevens aan Veilet doorgeven als een van de ouders of de wettelijke vertegenwoordiger deze privacyverklaring heeft gelezen en Veilet daarvan op de hoogte stelt. Verstrekken van gegevens zonder toestemming is verboden.

Onze sites kunnen links naar andere websites bevatten. Wij zijn niet verantwoordelijk voor de inhoud of de privacy bescherming van die websites. We raden het daarom aan  altijd het privacy reglement van de betreffende website door te nemen.

De gegevens met een asterisk (*) zijn verplicht of standaard, om de correcte afhandeling van de aankoop te garanderen. De overige gegevens zijn niet verplicht om aan te leveren.

Doeleinden

Veilet verwerkt jouw gegevens voor een of meer van de volgende doeleinden

• om je de mogelijkheid te bieden deel te nemen aan online veilingen en om gebruik te maken van alle functionaliteiten en diensten op de websites.
• om jouw aanvraag te verwerken en u te informeren over het verloop daarvan.
• om jouw registratie te verwerken.
• om jouw orders af te handelen
• om met je te communiceren door middel van het verzenden van e-mails
• om je nieuwsbrieven te sturen indien je daarvoor toestemming hebt gegeven en welke toestemming je zelf op elk moment kunt intrekken
• om jouw vragen te beantwoorden of uw klachten te behandelen via social media, e-mail, per post of telefonisch.
• om onze websites te verbeteren.

Delen gegevens met derden

Wij delen de door u verstrekte gegevens met derde partijen, als dat noodzakelijk is voor de levering van de door je aangevraagde producten of diensten. Hierbij is te denken aan betaaldiensten en vervoerders.

Met derden aan wie wij jouw gegevens verstrekken, hebben wij gebruikersovereenkomsten waarin is vastgelegd hoe zij met jouw gegevens moeten omgaan, conform de vigerende wet– en regelgeving.

Voor het overige delen wij uw gegevens niet met andere partijen, tenzij dit wettelijk verplicht of toegestaan is bijvoorbeeld  i.v.m. met justitieel of fiscaal onderzoek. 

Bewaring en veiligheid

Wij hebben alle redelijke en passende technische en organisatorische maatregelen genomen om uw persoonsgegevens te beveiligen tegen verlies of onrechtmatig gebruik. Alleen bevoegde personen hebben toegang tot de gegevens. De gegevens zijn afgeschermd en worden niet langer online opgeslagen dan strikt noodzakelijk voor een goed functioneren van de applicaties. Offline worden de gegevens 7 jaar bewaard i.v.m. fiscale regelgeving.

Cookies

Op onze websites maken wij gebruik van (functionele en analytische) cookies die door jouw browser worden opgeslagen op uw apparaat, bijvoorbeeld jouw computer, tablet of telefoon.

In deze cookies wordt informatie opgeslagen (zoals de instellingen van uw pc en door u aangegeven voorkeuren) om een volgend bezoek aan onze website te vergemakkelijken. Deze informatie bevat geen naam- of adresgegevens of andere persoonlijke gegevens. U kunt uw browser zo instellen dat u tijdens jouw bezoek aan onze website geen cookies ontvangt. In dat geval kan het echter gebeuren dat je geen gebruik kunt maken van alle mogelijkheden van onze website of dat je geen toegang heebt tot onderdelen van onze website.

Veilet bv maakt gebruik van Google Analytics om bij te houden hoe effectief onze Adwords-Advertenties bij Google zoekresultaatpagina’s zijn en hoe bezoekers onze website gebruiken. De informatie die hiervoor wordt verkregen waartoe het IP-adres behoort, wordt overgebracht naar Google. Deze gegevens worden door Google opgeslagen op servers die in de Verenigde Staten staan. Om hier meer informatie over in te winnen kunt u het privacybeleid van Google nalezen en hiernaast het specifieke privacybeleid van Google Analytics. Veilet gebruikt Google Analytics ingesteld aan de hand van de instructies van de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Hierdoor is de invloed op de privacy van onze bezoekers minimaal.

De informatie wordt door Google gebruikt voor rapporten over het gebruik van, om te analyseren hoe de website gebruikt wordt en om haar adverteerders informatie over de effectiviteit van hun campagnes te kunnen bieden. Deze informatie kan door Google verschaft worden aan derden voor zover derden de informatie namens Google verwerken of wanneer Google wettelijk verplicht is tot informatieverschaffing. Veilet heeft hier geen enkele invloed op. Veilet heeft Google geen toestemming gegeven om de verkregen analytics informatie voor andere diensten van Google te gebruiken.

Wijzigingen in deze privacyverklaring

Wij behouden ons het recht voor om wijzigingen aan te brengen in deze privacyverklaring. Het verdient aanbeveling om deze privacyverklaring geregeld te raadplegen, zodat u van deze wijzigingen op de hoogte bent.

Inzage en wijzigen van jouw gegevens

Je kunt op ieder moment uw profiel opzeggen. Binnen uw profiel kunt je zelf de door jou opgegeven informatie wijzigen. Indien je bent aangemeld voor een nieuwsbrief bevat elke nieuwsbrief instructies om je hiervoor af te melden.

Je mag ons te allen tijde inzage verzoeken in inzage in uw persoonsgegevens. Ook kun je ons verzoeken om jouw persoonsgegevens te verbeteren, aan te vullen, te verwijderen of af te schermen indien deze onjuist, onvolledig of irrelevant zijn, of anderszins in strijd met een wettelijk voorschrift worden verwerkt. Je heeft het recht bezwaar te maken tegen de verwerking van uw persoonsgegevens. Heb je toestemming gegeven voor de verwerking van persoonsgegevens, dan heb je het recht deze toestemming in te trekken. Ook heb je het recht op gegevensoverdraagbaarheid.

This privacy statement of Veilet bv relates to the auction platforms veilingenvankunst.nl, museumveiling.nl and schenkhet.nl. The statement provides information about the processing of visitors' personal data. Veilet bv processes the data carefully and securely, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.

Application of the privacy statement

This privacy statement applies to all personal data that Veilet bv collects and processes from data subjects in the context of the services offered, auction services, products, the use of the app and visiting our websites.

By registering and purchasing our services and / or products, using the app and visiting our websites, you consent to Veilet bv to process your personal data in accordance with this privacy statement.

Persons under the age of 16 may only pass on personal data to Veilet if one of the parents or the legal representative has read this privacy statement and informs Veilet thereof. Disclosure of data without permission is prohibited.

Our sites may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy protection of those websites. We therefore recommend that you always read the privacy regulations of the relevant website.

Purposes

Veilet processes your data for one or more of the following purposes

• to offer you the opportunity to participate in online auctions and to use all functionalities and services on the websites.
• to process your application and to inform you about its progress.
• to process your registration.
• to process your orders.
• to communicate with you by sending e-mails.
• to send you newsletters if you have given your consent and which consent you can withdraw at any time.
• to answer your questions or handle your complaints via social media, e-mail, by post or by telephone.
• to improve our websites.

Share data with third parties

We share the information you provide with third parties, if this is necessary for the delivery of the products or services you have requested. This includes payment services and carriers.

We have user agreements with third parties to whom we provide your data, which stipulate how they must handle your data, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.

For the rest, we do not share your data with other parties, unless this is legally required or permitted, for example due to with judicial or tax inquiries.

Retention and security

We have taken all reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful use. Only authorized persons have access to the data. The data are protected and are not stored online longer than is strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the applications. Offline, the data are stored for 7 years abiding tax regulations.

Cookies

On our websites we use (functional and analytical) cookies that are stored by your browser on your device, for example your computer, tablet or telephone.

These cookies store information (such as the settings of your PC and preferences indicated by you) to facilitate a subsequent visit to our website. This information does not contain name or address details or other personal details. You can set your browser so that you do not receive cookies during your visit to our website. In that case, however, it may happen that you cannot use all the features of our website or that you do not have access to parts of our website.

Veilet bv uses Google Analytics to track how effective our Adwords Advertisements are on Google search result pages and how visitors use our website. The information obtained for this, to which the IP address belongs, is transferred to Google. This data is stored by Google on servers located in the United States. To obtain more information about this, you can read the privacy policy of Google and the specific privacy policy of Google Analytics on the right. Veilet uses Google Analytics in a way that is compliant with the instructions of the Dutch Data Protection Authority. As a result, the influence on the privacy of our visitors is minimal.

The information is used by Google for reports on the use of, to analyze how the website is used and to provide its advertisers with information about the effectiveness of their campaigns. This information can be provided by Google to third parties insofar as third parties process the information on behalf of Google or when Google is legally obliged to provide information. Veilet has no influence on this. Veilet has not given Google permission to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.

Changes to this privacy statement

We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy statement. It is recommended that you regularly consult this privacy statement so that you are aware of these changes.

View and change your data

You can cancel your profile at any time. You can change the information you provide within your profile. If you are registered for a newsletter, each newsletter contains instructions on how to unsubscribe.

You may request us to inspect your personal data at any time. You can also request us to correct, supplement, delete or protect your personal data if they are incorrect, incomplete, or irrelevant, or are otherwise processed in violation of a legal requirement.
